Motioning the Way

by Andrew Krauss

A Journey Through the Breadth and Depth of Advent

Does the Advent season seem to rush by rather quickly? Does it feel like an early coming of Christmas? For readers who love the season of Advent but wish to look deeper into the real distinctiveness of this rich season, then this is the book. It encourages readers to take time, even outside of the season itself, to reflect on the relevance of Advent for the whole of the church year.

Andrew Krauss (member of SOSc) is an Anglican priest and theologian who has served in churches both in the UK and in Europe. He has a doctorate in the relation between theology and science, with wide-ranging interests in theology more generally.

Experiencing a Stroke

Digital Chapter

Tuesday 20 October, 7pm London time.

Two of our number will be sharing what they have learned and experienced as a consequence of Martin’s stroke earlier this year. There will be ample opportunity to share our own experiences of having or encountering someone having a stroke, or caring for others in the aftermath of a stroke. And there is always the challenge of what to do when someone in the congregation suffers a stroke or similar event.
